Matador's bicultural/bilingual team introduced the Pistoia Alliance and utilised a recording of a webinar first conducted by the Pistoia Alliance in conjunction with Elsevier in late 2024. Matador subtitled the content in Japanese but introduced and summarized the content to ensure the Japanese audience gained the maximum possible value.

Over fifty people from thirty organisations joined the session. The audience included pharmaceutical companies, cutting-edge biotechnology firms, research institutes, academia, the chemical industry, and governmental bodies. Over eighty percent of attendees responded that they found the content relevant for their interests or need.
