Matador-sponsorship enables Dougie Bolger and his co-drivers to become Italian GT-Cup 2024 Endurance Champions. The team had to win at Monza to be certain of becoming champions and driving the last stint, Dougie Bolger passed the field to take the lead just six minutes from the end of the three hour race.

In Dougie's previous stint he had also taken the lead but one hair-raising incident when his colleague took over nearly resulted in disaster. Ferdy touched wheels with another car at around 250kmh resulting in instant destriuction of the rear left tyre. He expertly brought the car home but our boys were now dead last in their category.

All champions must come through adversity to triumph and Monza proved to be a true test. We have to thank Alessio and the HC Racing team as well as Douie's co-drivers Ferdy and Alberto, all of whom were wonderful to work with all season.
