The Matador Japan-sponsored ISAK Girls team were crowned Japanese champions, with their “New Citizens” app that helped ease immigrants into their new lives in Japanese society. The app offered features such as explaining visa application processes or how to take practical Japanese lessons.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed young ladies can change the world. We feel very strongly about closing the gender gap in tech. It was a brilliant idea to choose a sensitive topic and show how tech can contribute positively to our daily lives.
