Institutional lack of recognition of the importance of diversity in Japan is something that Matador strives to change.
We support all young people to have the freedom to dream and become whatever it is that they aspire to. We are actively supporting young ladies to dream of a productive future in software technology and the life sciences.
Matador Japan has been supporting ISAK, a local international school, with their “New Citizens” application entry into Technovation Girls Japan.
With this application, the ISAK girls team aimed to ease immigrants’ arrivals into their new lives in Japan with a friendly app that explained where to go and how to do everyday things that might be very different to their home countries.
“We hope that this partnership with Technovation Girls will help encourage younger generations of women to see the transformative potential that software and data technologies have to change the world we live in, and to strive to become a part of the diversity required to make this successful transition.”
