Dougie jumped in the Radical SR3 for the first ever time on the Friday and after four test sessions with a huge grid, poled it on the Saturday morning. Later that day he scored his first Radical SR3 victory in the Forty-five minute endurance race.

Dougie started in pole for the first race but let the advantage slip on the first few corners. As the race progressed he was getting visibly quicker and finished just behind the leaders in third.

In the second race of the day, Dougie stole the lead from second by deftly judging when to pit and never looked like giving it back. Despite safety cars he held on to conclude a remarkable first weekend in the fastest Radical series.
