Dougie scored his first Radical SR1 victory at Snetterton, a track that had previously proven to be a bit of an unlucky venue for him.

Dougie started second on the grid but passed the pole sitter on turn two - the same corner where his F4 race ended prematurely the previous year after he somewhat comically, ended up in the adjacent farmer's corn field. Presumably he had heeded his coach's advice and this time snuck through on the inside rather than trying the riskier outside line.

After the overtake and despite several safety cars, he dominated the race winning by over eight seconds. Congratulations from everyone here at Matador - Dougie's victories inspire us to set higher targets for ourselves.
